We are excited to announce that Matildas star Emily Van Egmond has signed with the Newcastle Jets for a four-game guest stint!
Van Egmond is a veteran midfielder who has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, including Orlando Pride, Melbourne City, and West Ham United. She is also a key member of the Australian national team, and has represented her country at two World Cups and two Olympic Games.
“I’m really excited to be joining the Jets for the next few games,” said Van Egmond. “I’ve always had a lot of respect for the club, and I’m looking forward to playing with some of the talented young players that they have.”
